Intermediate Track Qualifying Exam

The intermediate track is designed for people who have been able to conceptualize and develop simple system dynamics models and need to continue to develop their modeling skills. Entrance into the track requires completion of a quiz to assess preparedness for the course. The quiz also serves as a reminder of the different areas where competency needs to be built in order to become proficient in building and using system dynamics models.

We use this quiz to ensure that students joining the intermediate track are sufficiently prepared to get value from the course. If you have problems with this quiz, including accessibility issues related to images and graphs, please send an email to bobeberlein@gmail.com with your concerns.

After you complete the quiz, you will see a page with information about registering. You should also receive an email with the same information.

PLEASE NOTE - After you complete the quiz click on pages at the left and then all pages (or directly here).  There will be a page corresponding to your score. "Ready for Intro" is for people for whom the intro track is recommended. "Ready to Learn" is for people who could benefit from either the Intro or the Intermediate track. "Ready for Intermediate" is for people for whom the Intermediate track is recommended.
